Meet Your Coach
Takisha Johnson was born and raised in Chicago, IL and has also traveled to many destinations around the world. She owns two small businesses and is a nonprofit founder.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology and is both a certified Reiki Practitioner and Empowerment Coach. She is the Champion of the scars in her life, having overcome sexual abuse, domestic abuse and many other scars of her past. She has allowed nothing to deflate her purpose. She speaks from a place of empathy and can connect with anyone who is ready to make change. It won’t always be easy, but it will always be worth it. Are you ready to Champion Your Scars?
From Takisha to You
In my younger years, I experienced so much trauma that I thought it was normal. Not realizing that people in my family had experienced similar traumatic events but they’d been normalized. It wasn’t until I turned 30 years old and stepped outside of religion to learn more about the direct spiritual connection that I began an extra examination of myself. It was here that I found meaning in situations I’d experienced and determined that this should not be normal. Instead they were traumatic experiences that left me scarred. It was at this point that I realized something had to change. When I was willing to accept that my upbringing was not normal and it should not be normal for anyone else I began to do the work.
This work challenged me in some very special ways but taught me more about myself than I had ever known. After doing the work and building my confidence, I wanted to share this journey with more people to heal themselves. While supporting them as it can get rough at times. It is here where the Champion Your Scars Empowerment program was born. I have been in the background supporting those willing to do the work for years and now I am offering this support to you. I hope that you are willing to come on this journey with me to take back your power by examining every traumatic experience that you’ve had and understanding how it has affected the life you live now. Let’s walk along this road together to your Championship season let me be your coach.
